The 2014 version of Night of Knights, held at the "SAC Air and Space Museum", was a tremendous success. The there was a record
number of over 600 guests at the event.
The
guest of honor was Bishop William J. Dendinger. Bishop Dendiger is an alumnus
who served as a military chaplain reaching the rank of a two-star general
before retiring from the service. A few years later he was appointed the as
Bishop of the Grand Island, Nebraska Diocese.
Honorary Chairmen were
Dr. Louis and Jackie Sojka, they are
long time friends and supporters of Mount Michael. Their four sons are
graduates. Matt ’78, Mark ’80, Luke (Fr. Louis) ’81, John ’85.
The General Chairmen for the event were Dr. Mike and
Michelle Cullen and Kevin and Linda Hitzemann.
