Knights take time out to watch eclipse

Everyone at the Mount took time off for an outdoor lunch today to enjoy the Eclipse. At its peak the eclipse triggered some of the street lights to turn on. The full effect is not noticeable in photos because the darker it got the more the lens opened for proper exposure. The lighting did get pretty weird though in person. View More Photos

Opening of School Mass & Picnic

A large crowd gathered Sunday afternoon for the opening of school Mass and picnic.  Signup sheets, family photos, and stories of summer filled the air with enthusiasm.   The Booster Club sponsored the picnic providing delicious fried chicken.

At Mass, Bro. August's homily reflected on David "D.J. Sokol and living the call to holiness.

Freshmen and new students had orientation afterwards.  The Freshmen continue orientation on Monday and are dismissed at 3:24 like a regular school day.  They will return to campus for the first day of classes that begins on Thursday.
