Trap TakesTeam Handicap Championship at State Trap Shoot

The Mount Michael Trap Team won the "Team Handicap Championship" this past weekend at the Nebraska state shoot in Donaphin. The boys performed under pressure by beating Lincoln Pius in a shoot-off to claim title of champion.  A complete listing of the teams with each squads results.  

The Knights also were the only school to have two squads in the top ten overall with the "Black" squad finishing 5th and the "Red" squad finishing 10th out of over 200 squads!

Over 157,000 students took the exam this year in the United States.

Knight Writers Win 4 State Championship Medals & More!

On April 27 eleven qualifiers traveled to Norfolk to compete in the NSAA state tournament for journalism.  The qualifiers were Harrison Hohman, Young Joon Park, Oliver Jarosik, Adam Terasinski, Thomas D’Aquila, Leo McGrath, Sam Van Haute, Jack Morrissey, Jackson Thompson and Homer Xu.  These students then were given prompts in various categories of writing and design for both newspaper and yearbook categories.  The team, competing in a much more competitive class B, took 4th place out of 26 teams.  We also had several individuals who did very well.
