Travis Scores Off-Broadway Gig

         Andy Travis, who has sung for Opera Omaha and the Omaha Community Playhouse and danced with Ballet Omaha, now is performing in the world premiere of a rock opera in New York City.
         Travis, an Omaha native who graduated from Mount Michael Benedictine School, has a lead role in "Arpeggio," written by David Stalings. The opera spotlights America's obsession with celebrity and its tragic effect.

The rock opera will run Nov. 1 through Nov. 18 at the 45th Street Theatre, 345 W. 45th St.
